Creative Palette - Wet on Wet Oil Painting

Creative Palettes located in the beautiful village of Lanark, Ontario. Our mission is to introduce the beginning student to the various wet on wet oil painting techniques, guide him/her through the creative journey and instill in him/her a passion to paint. We are currently in the process of moving to our new location and do not teach out of our own studio. We would be happy to come to you and teach a group of up to 12 students. Rick and Sandra Harling are instructors who have been teaching the wet on wet oil method for several years. The Alexander Art Company of Oregon introduced them to this method. In order to grow and learn new methods both Rick and Sandra are currently taking the Robert Warren Landscape/Seascape Certification. Week one has now been completed and they are scheduled for week two in October 2008.

Rick and Sandra gained a great deal of instructional experience while serving with the Canadian Armed Forces. Rick served for 38 years and Sandra 34 before retiring to teach painting.
