Creative Palettes located in the beautiful village of Lanark, Ontario. Our studio is currently being constructed and should be completed and ready for classes in May of 2010. An open house is scheduled with a final date determined by the finishing of the studio construction. We look forward to seeing you there.
Our mission is to introduce the beginning student to the various wet on wet oil painting techniques, guide him/her through the creative journey and instill in him/her a passion to paint. We are currently in the process of moving to our new location and do not teach out of our own studio. We would be happy to come to you and teach a group of up to 12 students. Rick and Sandra Harling are instructors who have been teaching the wet on wet oil method for several years. Rick is an Alexander Certified Instructor and a Robert Warren Landscape/Seascape Instructor. Sandra is an Alexander Certified Instructor, Certified Ross Floral Instructor and a Robert Warren Landscape/Seascape Instructor.
Rick and Sandra gained a great deal of instructional experience while serving with the Canadian Armed Forces. Rick served for 38 years and Sandra 34 before retiring to teach painting.
